A plain-language overview of Verrow

The Verrow approach to AI-supported learning

AI should support students through the curriculum—not around it.

After more than 20 years of homeschooling, my wife and I came to believe AI could become genuinely useful for education—but only if the people, curriculum, and educational philosophy already guiding a student remained in charge.

That belief became the starting point for Verrow.

The starting point

Verrow Begins Somewhere Different

Most general AI tools begin with a student’s question and generate an answer.

Verrow begins somewhere different: with the education already taking place.

Students use Verrow to ask questions, work through assignments, and receive guidance while learning from the curriculum they’re already using. Rather than replacing that curriculum with generic AI answers, Verrow works within it—supporting students as they think, revise, and build understanding while keeping the people responsible for their education involved in the learning process.

We think of it this way:

The curriculum provides the map and destination.
The student’s demonstrated understanding determines their present footing.
Verrow adjusts the route.

What remains afterward

Learning Should Remain Visible

As students increasingly use AI to ask questions, explore ideas, and work through difficult lessons, one question becomes increasingly important:

What should the people responsible for a student’s education be able to understand afterward?

We don’t believe the learning should disappear when the conversation ends.

Verrow helps make the learning process more visible so parents, teachers, and curriculum providers have another perspective as they decide what comes next.

AI remains the tool.

The student remains the learner.

The curriculum remains the guide.

Educational judgment remains human.

That’s why we believe:

AI can support students through the curriculum rather than around it.

A complementary kind of support

Care for the parent’s teaching day.

Verrow TA builds on what we have learned from developing and testing Verrow Tutor V3. It is being built to help parents prepare, teach, and remember where each child left off across the curricula they choose.

The Parent Assistant is in active development. Learn Together and a Student Assistant for a parent-approved learning day are planned later phases.

A practical way to evaluate Verrow

Explore Verrow

Verrow is designed for curriculum providers, schools, microschools, homeschool organizations, educators, and families who believe AI should strengthen education without replacing the people responsible for it.

Selected education organizations are invited to explore Verrow through a complimentary, self-guided evaluation using their own curriculum.

We’ll provide the V3 download, password, and simple setup instructions. Begin with the included Constitution sample or a representative lesson of your own, at your own pace.

V3 is an evaluation candidate. Its Tutor is live in the evaluation; the Learning Layer and Curriculum Intelligence use clearly labeled, reviewed synthetic examples. The evaluation does not establish student outcomes.

Then decide for yourself whether it’s an approach worth exploring further.

Experience Verrow using your own curriculum.

The best way to understand Verrow isn’t to read about it. It’s to experience it with the curriculum you’re already using.
